Background Information:

The Board adopted Policy #4.302, as revised, on February 4, 2008. To comply with requirements of this policy, an administrative procedure, i.e., Field Trip Manual, was issued effective January 1, 2007, and was subsequently revised October 9, 2009. In accordance with this administrative procedure, repeating field trips are submitted to the Board for inclusion on the list of “Current Board-Approved Field Trips.” Although overnight trips are included on this list, such trips are reported to the Board prior to students departing on the trip. The list of “Current Board-Approved Field Trips” has been updated to include the following field trips:

I recommend approval to add the foregoing student field trips to the “Current Board-Approved Field Trip” list.
